GIS Archery Teams Have a Successful Season

The Granville Intermediate School Archery Teams have been active in recent tournaments.

On March 28 the GIS Archery Teams competed in the Philo Archery Tournament. Michael Sarap received second place in the 5th grade male division with a score of 284 – just one point away from first place! Luc Kadlic received fourth place in the 4th grade male division with a score of 251.

Congratulations to the following students who took individual awards:

4th Grade Male Division
Second place - Luc Kadlic with score of 244 - 7 Bullseyes
Third place - Steven Zurawick score of 237 - 4 Bullseyes

4th Grade Female Division
Second place Wilson Foster with 248 - 6 Bullseyes
Fifth place Sophie Mouser with 219 - 6 Bullseyes

Fifth Grade Male Division
Second place - Michael Sarap with 275 - 10 Bullseyes

On April 11, Granville Intermediate School hosted Granville Archery Tournament for the second year. The 4th-5th grade team took second place, and the GIS 6th grade team took fourth place.
